Love the food , Erica our server was amazing and everything was done quickly. We got the kimchi fried rice that has a good kick. The Hawaiian Truffle Mac was good also. And the pork soup dumplings were a great appetizer. 10/10 recommend and would go back again. : )

We absolutely loved eating at Kai! The staff were very friendly and helped us navigate the menu as first timers. We went right at 5 which is when they open for dinner, so some items weren’t prepped yet but that didn’t really matter to us. We ordered the corn skillet, Korean fried chicken and Ramen carbonara...all were delicious! Very well prepared and seasoned perfectly! We will definitely visit them again.

Food was delicious, such unique and tasty flavors! The service was even better, Cameron was so friendly and knowledgeable of the various menu offerings based on what vibe we were looking for. After checking out, we left, packed up my toddler (and all his stuff) in the car, and a different server ran out in the freezing rain to give us his sippy cup u left on the table. Absolutely impeccable people & place all around!

It was my first time visiting and it was a great experience all around! Erica was a fantastic server and the street ramen was incredible!! I will definitely be back. The crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks were probably one of the best things I’ve ever tried.

My son loves trying new places and then sharing his finds with me. Today he treated me to lunch at Kai Bistro for my upcoming birthday. I got the Brisket Pho King Dip and a side of Cheese Corn. Both were delicious. My son got the Glass Island Noodles. He enjoyed that. We had a wonderful server as well. Parking in back is shared with the adjacent apartment complex and has signs posted saying that those spaces are reserved for apartments between 6 pm and 6 am. We got there a little after 2 on Saturday and there were several parking spaces available. If you go later, you may have to find street parking. They do close between 3-5 pm between lunch and dinner. We took a little bit to decide what we wanted, but still got our food hot and fresh in plenty of time to finish around 3 pm without rushing. Our server never did anything to make us feel rushed either. There were still customers eating when we left. If you are looking for cheap food, this is not your place. If you are looking for great food from a restaurant that is not a chain restaurant, give Kai Bistro a try. Our ticket was under 40 before tip. We both drink water with our meals.

Update: I came for lunch and had a great experience with Erica she was very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the KFC Wings (Honey Gochujang) and Korean BBQ Bao Buns. highly recommend those. Management was really kind and offered to give me a better experience and left me more than satisfied. Original: This is my second time coming in and unfortunately my experience was subpar. For the veggies I asked for no carrots (order to go at the location) was informed that the cooks said there was no carrots in veggies and was given those veggies filled with carrots. Bao Buns were more buns then filling (As you can see in the photo the cucumber was as big as the pork belly). The hostesses was wonderful but the cooking staff weren’t at their best. Only giving 3 stars because my first experience months prior(Lunch) was better)

This is our second time here, first time was Christmas Eve 2023. They were one of the few places open. I cannot say enough about this place. It claims Korean fusion, but it is so much more. The food is excellent! If you haven’t been here, you have to try it! Ask for Cameron as well, he’ll be in the review too. We went over kill on a Wednesday with the buy one, get one Korean fried chicken, and the crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks to start. The cheese stick were crunchy, piping hot, and the cheese Rangoon mixture was so delicious. If you haven’t had Korean fried chicken, you are in for a treat. It’s crunchy, juicy, and just the right amount of sauce in each bite. After that, we did the bulgogi, and the phozilla. Starting with the bulgogi, it’s everything you want in bulgogi, only on top of a blooming onion! So delicious. We barely put a dent in it. Now onto the phozilla. It said “do not take this lightly” and they weren’t kidding. It was the biggest bowl of pho I have seen. It even had brisket and a full rib in it. If you are going to order this, bring your biggest appetite. I can put some food away and I barely was able to get through 1/4 of the bowl before I was so full I thought I was I going to have to be wheeled out. Now onto the atmosphere. This place is busy for a reason. The signs all around and catchphrases add greatly to the atmosphere, which is a mix of crude humor but in a clean way. This place has personality that you just have to see. Lastly, we get to the service. Cameron was our guide on this journey of overindulgence. His recommendations are spot on. He knows the food, and if you give him a couple details of what you like, his recommendations will not disappoint. His drinks are so smooth you forget you are drinking alcohol, if you’re old enough. If you want a server that can cut it up with you, make you feel at home, and give you service that is not overwhelming, but he’s there when ever you just start think you would like something, he’s your guy. This is definitely one of our must go to places when we come to Chattanooga! Go to Kai bistro! It will not disappoint! I also forgot to take pictures before I began eating.

They were awesome!!! We’re from Nashville and traveled here for a mini vacay. Ate outside because we brought our dog and the owner (I think) brought out a little disposable to-go bowl of water for her to drink! He was also super nice and made sure we were taken care. The food was phenomenal. We ordered the japchae with steak, Korean fried rice, moco loco, the kai fried rice, and the bulgogi philly (starting eating and too focused on the delicious food, forgot to take a picture of the Philly and the kimchi fried rice )The Korean food and definitely the Korean fusion in Nashville is subpar. Kai’s concept and cuisine was beyond our expectations and we cleaned our plates. Service was great, and they were busy but we still got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. The price was excellent and the portions were perfect!
